Is there a fee to get USPS Form 1583 notarized?
Yes, however if you choose to use our online notary partner when you sign up, Freedom Mailbox® will pay the notary fee for you (normally $25). In order to get this deal, we must initiate the transaction for you and is typically done as part of the normal sign up process.
Alternatively, you could choose to use any notary of your choice. If you go this route, Freedom Mailbox® will not be able to pay any notary fee incurred. However, you may be able to get your form notarized at your bank or an organization such as AAA for free or at a deeply discounted price.
